How Mosque Admins Verify Prayer Times on MosqueSync

How masjid editors set and update Jama'at schedules on MosqueSync — and why verified times appear on your public masjid page.

MosqueSync prayer times are not guessed by an algorithm. When you see a full Jama'at schedule on a masjid page, it was set or approved by that mosque's administration through the MosqueSync editor workflow.

Who can update timings?

Approved mosque editors — usually committee members, imams, or designated volunteers — log into the MosqueSync app and publish schedules for their masjid. Changes go live immediately for everyone following that mosque.

Official meeqat vs mosque schedule

Some mosques link to an official regional meeqat catalog as a starting point, then adjust Jama'at minutes for their congregation. The public masjid page always shows the mosque's published schedule when available — that is what you should follow for attendance.

Request editor access

  • Download MosqueSync on Android or iOS.
  • Open your masjid and request editor access from the app.
  • Once approved, set daily or seasonal Jama'at times.
  • Your mosque's web page at mosquesync.com/masjid/{id} updates automatically for Google and the community.
